And with it are da mahi!

Had a great trip today... Ended up with 9 mahi, one nice wahoo, and a 90lb mako. Lost one other mako (both bit the planer bait) and had many small mahi crash the spread only to maul the rear end of a beautifully swimming ballyhoo!

It was rough coming and going, but beautiful all day in the stream.

Fished very clear blue water ranging from 75-82 degrees...

After looking at the temp shot on Tuesday night, we ran up to MHC and hauled the boat back down to Topsail. Fished the 100f line in deep blue water strait out of TI for the most part. The best bite was 100+fathoms along the temp/water color break that ran from about 12nm S of the yellowfin hole all the way down to south and offshore of the same ole. There was good fishing all along that break.
