Sit down Shut up And fish
Pictures from Sat. on the Run Off
First let me thank Capt. Brian and Box for another awesome trip. Second, let me thank Chris, Glenn and Kevin for sharing this trip with Jon, Mike and myself. Thanks to Ricky Turner for his contribution, your wahoo fillets are vaccum sealed and on the way bro! We met Glenn, Kevin and Chris for the first time shortly after arriving in MHC friday afternoon. After having conversations with each of them via phone, PM's and e-mail it was good to shake their hands in person. As for me, I have never met a nicer group of guys and plans are underway for more trips together in the future. Now, I'm going to let the pictures tell most of this story and I welcome the guys to jump in and expand on one of the best fishing trips I have ever been a part of. We left port very early on a cold, clear morning as Flatliner seems to be still waking up!

Nauti Natured draws first blood with a super sized blackfin!

Glenn was a huge help in the pit showing us all that this was not his first rodeo. He also reeled in our biggest wahoo, a 50+! Here he and Box stand back and look at the spread they had just put out........

If you look up patience in the dictionary, you will see this picture as the definition. Flatliner stood watch over the planer all day and finaly was rewarded with a nice king mackeral!

Dieseljon hooked up with our first saildog and even though we didn't get him to the leader, it put on one heck of a show. No pics of that fish but here he is cranking in a nice wahoo!

The next saildog was all Nauti's as he pounced on the reel and came tight on him. No way Box was going to let someone else bring this fish in as he ordered him to the chair. High fives and thumbs up after this release!

Bee Bop celebrates with a cold one after gaffing a foul hooked wahoo for flatliner. Come to think about it, he celebrated with a cold one all day!!

Was there blood you ask? Oh yes. Lots of blood!

Just another day in the office for the Beast!

What a day, tons of meat, new friends made, old ones reunited. It just don't get any better. Thanks guys.

HA!!!! I didn't even know that you took that picture!!!! I think it was taken at about hour 2 of the staring competition that I had with the swivel top on the planer rod! I was NOT gonna let that rod hit without me seeing it!
I had my eyes on that rod for about 3 hours and to say that I studied every square centimeter of it at great length is an understatement. I might even have some ideas about improving it a little bit, but it's pretty damn on the mark.... Comparison video will be coming as soon as I get it together.
