That must be a helluva shoe box to hold all these photos, priceless!

I am liking the morning cognac thing though
Morning cognac is a good thing Lou. Gets the juices flowing. We'll give that a try soon.

Great Stories. I could use a morning cognac leading into noontime beers myself. Sometimes we forget how hard the rest of the world has to work to make a living.

Welcome aboard Peter. Again Nick thanks for sharing. Love reading about your culture and family way of doing things in the med.

Say Hello to Peter

My brother Peter has finally registered with SF and we can now claim a resident eastern med member! Peter loves the salt water as much as any of us.
Peter now lives on a small olive grove in the town of Astakos. Five years ago, he decided to leave the city (Athens) and relocate his beautiful wife Melissa, sweet daughters Joy and Katheryn and his Rot Duke to the simple life of the small coastal town of our youth.
His first post is located up a couple on this thread

pictured below is brother Peter getting some pears from his tree for my two sons

and here is sweet Melissa with big Duke by the garden patch

Finally, 3 generations of my family waiting for the water taxi near Astakos

Please take a moment to say hi to Peter. We rely on him to help me keep the stories going. He also keeps an eye on that grumpy ol' captain Yanni, who is still in Athens recouperating from his recent surgery.
Thank you,
SeaBiscuit
