Every piece of advise Anthony gave me from tackle to technique was dead on. I fished the drop-off at 15mph (weather did not permit 20mph) with the single line out. He said most fish will be caught in 150ft of water. Guess what ? exactly 150 ft of water this fish hits and runs. I was seconds from calling it a day when it hit. I knew I had a big one as it made multiple runs unlike the one I caught the other day. When it approached the boat I really almost couldn't believe it! It was shaking it's head and not even really paying attention to me or the boat. One quick motion with the gaff and it was sitting in the boat. It made little commotion once in the boat and I took off for the beach where my boys and wife were hanging out. I had a hard time even lifting this thing up. I personally think this was over 80lbs.
The boys, of course, loved it and jumped in the boat (1ft of water). The reason why I am holding the fish up by the mono is in the attempt to show the lure! I told Anthony that if I caught a fish I would send him the pic.
In all, it was an experience I will never forget, nor will my boys. Thanks again to Ace Fishing Lures for all their help. Robey
