Man I wish this thread was here exactly one year ago! Last Christmas we spent a week in Phuket and I wanted to go fishing but I also didn't want to get taken on a "boat ride". We had a great time snorkeling, eating, etc, but I never got to fish. Maybe next time.....but man that is a long way to fly, especially with a 1 yr old baby. We survived though and would love to go back.

hope everything goes well in the ship yard, not to hot this year right, got a little breeze the last 2 days.
i'm off to the similans tomorrow destroying some lures again with all this hoos around the FAD's

just back last night, again lots of tackle looses to the hoo's. rounded up the trip with a nice 150lb black for 75 year old angler henry radevall and a sail for his buddy. similans are 70nm north west of phuket.
i like to place pics here, but man, the computer and i are not very close friends.

Huuwi, I am just finishing up on ship yard now. I think today should do it. Just in time for the weather to get bad :-( Oh well we need a few days rest anyway then we will be off to see what we can bring home. Photos are of the work we have been doing on the boat. I hope to have some fish photos soon....

Mr. Box, after the weather comes down I hope to post some nice picks of the boat and local fishing. Well on the other side of things, my crew has worked very hard these last two weeks and needed a day or two off... :-) When the weather passes they should be rested and ready to fish!! Wahooooooo
