Thanks Deep C. I purchased them so I can fish up or down. I want to start looking for swords off NC next summer as well as head north a bit to fish Makos, these reels should do just fine as well as fishing YFT up and down the coast. My 30's are great and handle most anything but it's nice to have a little bigger gun sometimes. Ken Mullen

This is my second season with my 70's

I have them spooled with 750 yards of 150 lb Power pro.

I have them on a custom made stand up unlimited tuna rod.

Love them both.

I have caught plenty of GBFT's on them.
