    Never even heard of it but going to check it out.......I have dropped 30 lbs since september......But that is the Divorce diet......The local gym has a special for $10 a month and i am really kicking that idea around, i may as well take advantage of going from 250# down to 220#'s and tone up.

    Started it last spring did 5 weeks and dropped 30 pounds. Two deaths in the family resulting in about a month away from home and then a couple of other schedule busters put a kink in the program. Stopped the workout and the running and put 13 of the 30 back on I also started drinking diet pepsi again about a case of the 24oz a week. I read a report on aspertame which is the sweetener in DP, it turns out that your body reacts to it somewhat like diebetic does to sugar, so I quit the DP again. Starting this week Im back on the program 3 days a week running 2 on the bike and 5 a week on the P90x and two days rubbing sore body parts.

    I have seen every diet or exercise phase you can imagine. I have owned a chain of health clubs for the last 12 years and have seen it all.

    The bottom line is ... ANYTHING THAT GETS YOU TO EAT LESS CALORIES AND BURN MORE CALORIES WORKS!!!! Its just like a bank account. If you spend more than you sack away it will shrink

    The best tip is the one that you will actually use ... therefore, start small. One step at a time. You have to change your lifestyle, not just what you do tomorrow.

    Eat less, eat natural, eat small portions often, and raise your heart rate for an hour a day.

    Simple as that.

    Regarding diet sodas..... the last study I saw said that they contribute more to obesity and particularly "belly fat" than sugar sodas do. They are all bad.

    Eat & drink natural stuff. Period

    If you are thinking about doing a workout the will get results and are considering p90x....buy it, you won't regret it.

    I am 25 years old and played college baseball, but after college quit working out regularly and gained some weight over the past 3 years.

    I started p90x on feb 1 and have already lost 15+ pounds (245-230). It is a lifestyle change, but the workouts are between 45-90 minutes so that's a small sacrifice each day to live a healthier life. This program will help me get back into the physical shape that I need to be and since this is a fishing board, it will make me a better fishkiller (stamina, strength, balance, endurance). *There is a fit test that you should do before you start, if you can't pass this test, proceed with caution or move on to another program.

    As far as the diet goes, nobody can eat perfect all the time, but what you need to try to do is eat clean and limit portions. It's very hard for me and the diet aspect has always plagued me in the past even as a college athlete. This program will make you want to eat clean because you will want to see the results. It's a transformation of your body over a 3 month time frame. All sodas are bad for you but if you need your fix, have it in moderation. Drink Water!!!

    **If you aren't currently doing a exercise program, just try for 1 week to drink water only for 7 days, east 3 small meals per day with a snack between breakfast and lucnch and another 2-3 hours after lunch. High protein/low card. Combine this with 1 hour of exercise per day that is intense enough to raise your heart rate and cause a good sweat. Try it for 1 week and see what kind of results you have...my bet is everyone would see at least a couple pounds dropped off their frame.

    As others said, P90X is the real deal. I'm currently into the second Month. It's a great workout. Best part is the muscle confusion. It does not let your body get into a routine..
    As with anything, the more you put into it, the more you'll get out.
