Trey, cool videos man, thanks for posting em up.

I was up around Juniper Bay back during duck season and there were a bunch of guys oysterin down near Great Island, we watched 'em for a few minutes and I've got a couple questions.

Why do they turn in such tight circles while draggin the dredge?

How big are these oyster beds that ya'll are working. Down there, there was at least 8-10 boats working the same area for 3 days in a row. Do the beds ever get fished out or can they sustain that amount of fishing?

I think those deep water oysters are awesome, much better and bigger than the shallow ones picked up by hand. Where are ya'll fishin out of?

WE do the circle thing to stay on the rock if you get off you will be in the mud , Im out on the Neuse River at Paridise Shores Most of the rocks I work have been pounded and are stll producing plenty of oysters

Thanks for the video Trey. The beds over our way didn't produce for the tongers this year, or at least, that is what I was told. On the other hand, scallops are thick. As soon as I get over "THE CRUD" thats been going around, am going to slip out there and knock a few bushels out. MissSara
