The eggs have hatched! I will keep you guys up to date on their growth. They are cool little things. Sorry about the quality of the pics but I've had to use my blackberry. New camera is on my wish list. I'll have one soon

COOL! Is the Mother close when You are there and how big is She![]()
now that is pretty cool, waitin to hear details on the mother from you
but when I bang on the door she flies out and when I leave she flies in. Shes about a foot tall I guess and I'm still not positive what kind of owl it is. She sits in a tree until I try to take her pic and then she flies offI'm pretty excited to watch them grow up!

A. It's a myth that parent birds will abandon young that have been touched by humans—most birds have a poor sense of smell and are probably unable to detect the scent of humans on their eggs or nests.
