On saturday I went out on the overnighter it was my second overnighter ever but this 1 was better than stink we went out at about 8:00pm went to the jack spot and caght a bunch of blue fish but then we picked up and off to the 500 to 1000 fathom linewe turned on the lights and there we're tiny little silver fish every we're there was alsoa squid here and there but then we turned off the lights and there we're stars everywer we even saw the milkyway then I caught my 1st shsrk a fairly sized blue shark we. Let him go ofcourse the next day we saw lots of porpoise we even saw a great white free jumpin and we saw a 9ft blue shark but I think we caught his son we saw a cool pilolat fish on him toobut it was really calm to top it all of this was my good overnighter. Oh ya I forgot we saw some jellyfish at night flashing after there prey got killed ok that's realy the end this time

John - yeah that post was from Nick, my son. He is chomping at the bit to do it again. I don't think it will be an overnighter but we are going to try again. Apparantly the junior world record for Mako is 107lbs and he has his sights set on this record. So come Saturday the baits will be set. Probably somewheres around the washington. I have a feeling he's not going to let me give up until one hits the deck
