    Outrigger Poles

Input needed: pros and cons of telescoping outrigger poles. Lee, 16', metal. Small boat, 24' CC; bases mounted on t-top. Considering the telescoping poles for storage convenience since the one-piece poles now have to be removed for dry stack.

Myself....I hate tele-riggers. They all fail at the joints and seem to have more flex than one-piece poles. IMHO, It is easier to pull Your poles out and lay them down than it is to collape the tele's section by section. I think the onesies look better as well.

I agree. It used to just take second to pull out my riggers and lay them on the deck. Have know a few guys with telescoping that developed problems.
Standard riggers will outlast most anything else on the boat.

Thanks for the replies--that's pretty much what I thought, just wanted others' opinions.
