leaving BWI @6am and should arrive in Miami @9am then onto Gilberts Resort in Key Largo for a day of fishing before driving to Duck Key on friday. we are staying at Hawks Cay Resort and fishing wth Captian Tom Rowland and Captian Rich Tudor of the hit TV show Saltwater Experience

I'll have my laptop and cameras wth me and will try and post-up any fishing reports and pics, as time allows....then on sunday it's up to my brothers new house in Stuart and fish for a few days

hey randy have a great time, hawks cay is beautiful, if you get a chance, i think the place is the keys fishery in marathon, ain't much for ambiance, but the grub is out of this world.

Well, we arrived alive and on time......drove in circles for @1/2 hr trying to find the BPS in Miami....bought some cheapie "ugly sticks" and drove on down to Key Largo...had lunch at the "Fish House" pretty good, got my fill of Stone Crab Claws and our waitress, as it turns-out use to live in the next town west of us Sykesville for you locals......
got to fish here at the Resort, my first 2 cast, I got snagged and broke-off my jigs as did Philip ....Barb was using her favorite lure, a Sabiki Rig tipped wth "Fishbites" and caught something that looked like a White Perch but had yellow fins on it I was going to live-line it but since I couldn't identifiy the fish, I thought it would be better to release it everyone is taking a nap, next is dinner and then some night fishing.....I'll keep you all posted

WOW whatta' day....
Barb and I went "back contry" fishing wth Captian Tom Seiling, we anchored-up near the A1A bridge near Islamorada and I caught a small Sharpnose Shark on a whole live mullet.........@1/2 hr later Barb Hooked-up wth a BIG fish, we didnt know what it was at first, but when it dove for cover under the bridge supports, I knew right away it must be a Grouper......after a good 15 min battle it came to the surface and sure enough, it was a huge Goliath Grouper @120lbs my wife did a great job on getting it to he boat, her biggest fish to date

after an hour of nothing, we moved down closer to Captians Rich Tudor and Tom Rolands boats and dropped the hook.... we switched to Mullet heads, after one young lady on Rich's boat hooked-up wth a large Tarpon that ran them around the bridge, it jumped outta' the water @20' from us and got off.....then @10 mins later, I got bit it was a huge Tarpon, which leaped outta' the water and starting crossing over everyones anchor lines, so we started chasing him down, 20 mins later a nice @140lb+ Tarpon was alongside the boat, released back into the wild...my 1st triple digit Tarpon

What fun we have had I gotta' Thank Captians Tom Rowland, Rich Tudor and Tom Seiling, everyone at Hawks Cay Resort and the staff from the Suffix Saltwater Experience TV Show ......
