nice video marty, love the close-ups.
What a cute little guy..........Thanks for the video.
I was there that day. That was the closest I have ever been to one. Captain Brian and Marty were feeding them too. It was pretty neat.
Saturday after we got back from fishing on the Second to None there was a family of them, about 4 right in the corner of the wall under the dock. I got a couple hoo's out and feed them by hand, it was pretty neat. Billy's son was there and he got to feed them too.
Later on 3 of them dragged up a big wahoo head up on the bank under the dock and started chowing down.
Cute little buggers.
Thats pretty cool. The otters on Delmarva are pretty shy and secretive.
We occasionaly get a glimpse at one from the duckblind, but seeing them
beg like that, never.
Bert
Cute lil critters. They are hell on some bait corals though. Have to end up sinking mine WAY off to the side in secluded water off the ICW with a crab pot float to keep them away from the otters in the shallows. They are just doing their thing though. Use to have a bunch of them living under the shack by the launch well at Coral Bay. Neat stuff Marty, thanks for sharing.
i was wondering why Baywolf was stashing leftover ballyhoos under the dock last week at the S2N slip.....really neat animals to watch. i picked up a road kill otter years ago, skinned it, and have the tanned skin. their coat is really dense and soft. my hands stunk for days after skinning it though...the oil from their glands that keeps them waterproof is some nasty stuff.
Box you cant be stealing my Mascots!
Seems that them varmits are two timing ya'll----Originally Posted by freebird2
