Shane if you can't get anything that works for you, I've got a couch for free. Its in VB, roughly a 1.5 hour drive (an hour ten minutes at 330am). I'd let you stay on my rig, but I'm headed home in week after next. Welcome to stay on the boat until I go home though. If you ask around, I'm sure you can find some kind of gig there at the marina... maybe some of the other boat's mates will pay you to clean the boats in the afternoon after you get back. There are a couple guys here in VB that wander from boat to boat in the afternoons and they always have a boat or two to clean. As Glenn said, find the ugliest waitress you can find, but the money you are gonna have to spend nightly on beer goggles is gonna get expensive too.

For nomads, camping is always a good option. Get a good cot, bag, tent, plenty of TP, and you are ready to roll. I have done it many times for a couple weeks at a time wether on hunting or fishing trips. It will toughen you up! Good luck.

I can hook you up with a place to stay but.....they might need you to do some work. How do you feel about Pizza????? Really I can hook you up with a place to stay and a night time job for the whole summer if you want. I used to own Lisa's Pizza in Rodanthe 17 miles south of OI. I'll give you a number if you want.
