    One Stop Shop!!!

Headed to the camp after a long week of work and was greeted by light Southerly breeze. Along for the ride was my father-in-law from Florida and we showed him why this place is called Sportsmans Paradise! Saturday was not the best of trips but we did managed 20 keeper trout. Saturday evening we worked on our new and improved cleaning station. What do you think? Is it kind of tacky to have a granite cleaning station? Sunday came and we made a stop right outside of California Point and it was on!!! Finished out limit by 8:45 in the morning... Also caught a lonely red that had a bad jaw or a bad tumor. All in all a great weekend with good company.

You're gonna need a bigger fish cleaning station!

Why would it be bad to clean fish on a granite surface? I was thinking of getting a small piece to clean fish on?

Too slick (whole, wet fish would slide all over) and bad for the knife's edge.

I'm going to put a trough where I can put about 75 trout in it and as needed the fish will slide right to me on the granite. The portable cutting boards take care of the slide issue.
