Old Salty Planer

Not trying to start anything just wonder if anyone knows what to do? I know alot of you guys use these on here.

I order a number 24 old salty planer online i have been charged and have a reciept but i have yet to recieve the planer. I ordered it june 11. I have sent email and a message on this site but haven't heard anything. Does anyone have a contact i can't seem to get ahold of anyone at old salty. I have only heard great things about old salty co. so i am assuming there is some sort of misunderstanding.

Do a search, Bro. This happens over and over again. They make a great product but this BS seems to keep happening. I had over three months of back and forth with them and finally they refunded my money after a lengthy Paypal dispute.

They do this to a bunch of people and then come back to the site every six months and make a long apology and a promise that they are back in action and in full swing. Its getting really annoying and insulting to the intelligence of our community if you ask me.

If you want an Old Salty Planer I would get it through a shop that already has it in stock so you don't have to deal with the company directly. At least that way you get the planer. I finally ended up buying mine at Joe Shute's shop in AB, NC.

I know there are a lot of guys here who are buddies with the O.S. guys and I am sorry if I am stepping on any toes here but enough is enough with these guys. The truth needs to be told.

So it sounds like this is not a misunderstanding. Paypal is telling me to contact the Old Salty but the email contact doesnt exist it just gets sent back. How did u resolve it? Did pay pal make good?

No ... paypal did nothing. I called and emailed and called and emailed and made public posts and called and emailed some more and finally they refunded the money after they said that they were sending my planers and a couple of extra ones for my trouble. Never saw any planers but was happy to get my money back after all that.
