Just bought a 65' hat!
Old Salty?
Just lost my Old Salty planer and am wanting to get another but remember reading here a few months ago that they had lost their patriarch and were going through some tough times.
I tried e-mailing and calling them but could not reach anyone.
Does anyone have an update on Old Salty? Are they back up and running or have they gone out of business for good? Don't hear much of that kind of news waaay out here in the middle of the Pacific so thanks in advance for any info on the status of Old Salty.
Aloha,

I think Admin is going to let me have this space
WHATEVER you do..... DO NOT order directly from the company. Your money will dissappear into thin air.
I would give Joe Schutes a call or one of the other vendors that has one in stock to send to you.

Just buy or order one from a tackle shop like alltackle. I've bought 4 of them this summer. I see alot of them hanging on the walls. I'm sure they're still making them.

Hi To ALL,
We're not out of business, we have been overwhelmed this year with WHOLESALE Orders NATIONWIDE. Due to the past economy our vendors wiped out there shelves almost to nothing. Then when they ramped back up they were basically
reloading all the pegs in the stores. Our businesses are strong, both on the East Coast as well as the West Coast.
I look forward to any questions and coming back on board
to SFC to represent my past fathers companies.
Good Fishin' to ALL,
