You said a mouthful there Frank.....I planned on moving to N.C. in 6 years after my daughter turns 18 and the support is done with.....but I am thinking I might just have to focus on further south, I love florida but the pay rate sucks and the cost of living does not seem to reflect the pay rate.....then again I have not truly looked ito the pay rate for my trade.....which would be a machinist and machine mechanic.....then again.....my trade is a dying trade no matter what part of the country you are looking to relocate to....Lets face it the steel manufacturing industry is going nowhere fast....I just hate the thought of toughing it out for 20 more years in the south east Pa area and traveling 2 hours to get to the salt.......hell in a few years at the rate things are going we wont be able to fish and keep anything anyway.....Time will tell but its kind of hard to be an optimist with the way things are going with the regs and economy.
