Our God father Lou was going Grouper fishing with me tomorrow BUT can't go now because he has furniture coming tomorrow to his new house. I said ok I'll fine' I'll find someone to take you place and the phone calls went out to those that said "when the fishing gets hot call me" well I called and was told...can't go now! Then I went to the bar where those told me when you need somebody to fish with you...get up with me! Well I ask 24 people to go tomorrow and got NO takers on this offer! Ok here is the deal...tomorrow 7 AM I leave the dock with or with you...I'M GOING GROUPER FISHING! All I'm asking is to help me share expenses...boat is loaded with bait and ice! Unless I get someone to go with me, expect NO report on this trip as it will be short and sweet, 5 reds and 2 gags or Scamps...which ever comes first. If you want to go call me.

It's 56 degrees outside...rainy....windy...cold...and it's going to be 7 months before the next fishing season here....I'm dreaming of getting out again...praying for one more day on the water....and you can't find anyone to join you? we just got done rigging, icing, and fueling the TROPHY for more wahoo carnage tomorrow. and i think Mike is taking care of the "scattered grass" in the backyard tomorrow.

Brother Lee, I hope you got some company for tomorrow. It will be a beautiful day, so go even if you must fly solo. I have a date with my 12 year old who will be fishing for the first time since breaking his arm in summer camp. We'll be taking it easy.
By the way, 5 groupers total is all you want to bring back. No more than 2 gags, or 1 black or warsaw included in your 5.

Just when I thought it could not get any better (other than having someone to share this day with) I get to the dock and clean my fish, take it to my friends restaurant and they fixed the Grouper for mE and I ate almost a whole Grouper...LIFE IS GOOD!
