    Oil in mahi mahi

Just recevied this in face book.
    Im just passing the world.

I just got this from a fisherman in Florida. It just shows that the oil did not disappear but is slowly getting into the food chain. Bp and the media are covering this up. This is only the start of chain reaction in the food chain.
    Would you eat this??????
Please send this picture to everyone who cares about gulf seafood

Unless someone does testing to prove the origin of that oil there's no proof it was from the BP blowout.

Hard words but the fact is that oil pollution is everywhere in the ocean and being as how Dorado will eat anything it may have chomped down something on the surface just before it was caught.

Was the fish caught on the East Coast or West Coast of Florida. While I agree, it would be difficult to prove this was a result of the BP spill, if this mahi was caught on the West Coast of Florida, it would be hard to not think it is a result of the spill. But like someone said its hard to believe the fish could survive very long with all that oil ingested and who knows how/when it may have gotten in there.

Does this mean we should soak are Mahi baits in 10W-40?

I just forwarded this photo to the
    http://www.usm.edu/gcrl/
for a quick analysis by a few of the scientists as it would appear to be a fish that ingested a tar ball not a time exposure related incident.
I am guessing that this is an anomaly.

TRY EATING THE WHITE MEAT....IT IS MUCH BETTER THAN THE GUTS

I ACTUALLY QUESTION IF THAT IS OIL.......I'VE SEEN SOME VERY NASTY SHITOLA COME OUT OF MAHIS BEFORE

THE BP OIL SPILL.....YES IT WAS TRAGIC....BUT.... NO MORE TRAGIC THAN THE OIL STAINED PARKING LOTS OF ALL SHOPPING CENTERS HERE IN THE U.S. AND ABROAD....LOOK AT THE WAL-MART....K-MART PARKING LOTS...LOOK AT FOOD LIONS LOT....LOOK AT ANY MULTI-DECK PAY PARKING LOT.....LOOK AT THE AIRPORT PARKING LOTS....THEY ALL HAVE OIL SPILLS......I HEAR NO COMPLAINTS STEMMING FROM THESE SPILLS.....AND NO ONE SEEMS TO MIND THE BIG LONG OIL STAINS LOCATED DOWN THE MIDDLE ON THE NATIONS HIWAYS NOW DO THEY...

AND I HAVE NEVER HEARD ONE MAN PROTEST WHEN HE HIMSELF CREATED DIESEL OR GAS OVERFLOW WITH DOCKSIDE SPILLAGE WHILE PUMPING FUEL INTO HIS BOAT....ONE MERELY SHOOTS DAWN ONTO THE SPILL AND THEN HE GETS THE HELL OUT OF DODGE AND FAST...

Whenever I get a little fuel that comes out of the vent at the fuel dock.... I just tell them "it's ok.... I work for BP"
