There is a year round population. When I kept my boat in Wanchese, January weather windows were my favorite time of year to fish. You had the ocean to yourself nearly.

Jim is right. The only bad thing about a day offshore by yourself is you have to find the fish...which isn't always easy.

Fished today from there around the 280...general area of where those bluefin and yellowfin were caught yesterday. 66/50 temperature break and it was absolutely dead out there. Some bluefish were caught on the cold side...We stopped trolling and bottom fished.

Amazing what a day can do...Only 4 boats fishing.
