The kid and the wife are in bed. a little grey goose and a blast from the past video. I just finished watching a video from back in 199something. Two days in feb on the Pelican in Hatris for the bft's. 10 on the first day and 19 on the second. Average size was about 200 although we did manage 2 under 73inches for the table. . I have video of them busting all over the back of the boat and Peter Wright coming to the boat to see how we did back at the dock. I need to figure out how to transfer this to file that I can share. The tape is VHS. Any suggestion?

Remember seeing a video from the Bullfrog years ago when the BFT were first gone after out of Hatteras. Guys were tossing live chopper blues to them. Looked like VW's coming out of the blue deep to eat 'em up. I swear some of those fish looked to be 3/4 long as the transom was wide. Eyes the size of baseballs. Granted everything looks 25% bigger underwater. Neat footage though. Was Arch Bracher running the Pelican then?

Ark, I would love to see that video. I have one I am working on to try and get to the website. Might require help from the Box.

Yes, Arch was running the Pelican. We would troll one horse on the 80 off the bridge and Arch would have his head stuck in the video finder. When we would run over the school or hook one trolling the mate would start chucking fatbacks off the transome. They rarely made it more then 50 feet before they got schwacked.

I am having some technical difficulty with the transfer. I was able the video from the vhs back to my camera but am now having trouble downloading the film to the computer. I will try to figure it out again tonight. I think I need to re install my download program.
