OFFSHORE TUESDAY 0-3 ON MAHI

Was able to get out to the 630 Tuna Hole working South Tuesday for my wife's first offshore trip. She had a blast with all the life that was showing itself. No fish in the box to clean but still an amazing day in a 23' WA!

Had 2 mahi on to start the morning off with the first coming off right away on a blue/white sea witch and Wyatt having a quick battle before his came unbottoned from a purple/black cedar plug.



Picture pretty much sums up our fishing with Wyatt after his fish came lose 20' from the boat. Had one last gaffer on long enough to see true beauty of the fish showing off out of the water on several jumps.



Lots of life seeing dolphin, several large sharks, few marlin sunning not eating and a ton of turtles.



Turtle hopped on the way back in seeing mahi under each smacking our bucktails with no hookups.



Think I could have stayed in close and had as many chances at the mahi, but glad to have made the trip for the sights seen and beautiful day on the water. Still working on the fishing part but getting close that majical offshore day!

out "there" even if the fish aren't willing, the sight's make up for it. My kid's are grown now and I'm just now able to carry them out. It's a blast wish I was able to do it when they were younger. Enjoy it with your's, you won't get this time back. Frank

always good to be on the water...sometimes stopping by the g tower on the way in to oi can save the day for some pullage and a variety of fish to be caught there. Put "the boss" on an aj and sit back and enjoy
