Now that is one hungry flounder!

Spent the day on the Matador with Capt Jake yesterday. Cold as a witches elbow. Fishing was a bit slow but it wasn't for a lack of trying. Jake busted his ass to get us the fish. We ended up with 4 keeper rockfish and a couple surpise flounders on the troll. Anybody who thinks their minnow is too big to catch a flounder needs to take a look at this.

Now for the Idiot award of the day. Come on dude. You can't be serious. He was fishing with two rods and a dummy line. Appropiate Huh!

On to the rockfish. We got about 15-20 non-keepers casting jigs and We got two keepers on the eels and two keepers on the troll. Thanks again Jake. We had a blast.

Marty - Joe is always smiling.

That pic is for real. Not sure if you are talking about the flounder or the jet skier. But the flounder ate one of the plugs trolled behind the Mojo. The bigger flounder that you see being held up was actually part of a triple header. two keeper rockfish and the flounder hit at the same time.

Great report Bill. Guess those flounder were very hungry. Haven't had fresh flounder in years, seeing those pics make me want some fresh flounder.

    That's a good question?
Great report Bill. The pictures are fantastic. For some reason we always have some strange flounder catches when I fish with you. I hope Jen enjoyed the flounder. I'm getting home tonight and we are going to enjoy the fresh rockfish. Thanks again for the invite.
