NOW I AM IMPRESSED BUT....
THIS IS THE MHC OFFSHORE CHARTERBOAT ROW WATERFRONT HERE.....HOME OF REAL FISHING....SERIOUS FISHING....
THIS AIN'T JOHNSON'S DEEP CREEK MARINA WE ARE TALKING ABOUT!
I THINK THIS IS A COOL GREEN IDEA, BUT .....LIKE NETTERS ARE REQUIRED TO TEND THEIR NETS.....MONO BINS MUST BE ATTENDED AS WELL
I NOTED THE RED WARNING SIGN ON THE CONTAINER STATING HOW MONO EFFECTS THE ECOLOGY OF MARINE LIFE.....AND WE SHOULD KEEP OUR WATERWAY FREE ON TANGLE......WHAT ABOUT THE WALKWAYS!!!??? THAT......WELL I BET IT IS SAFE TO SAY THIS DANGLING PILE OF MONO WILL EFFECT SOME HUMAN LEGS IF THEY WALK NEAR THIS CONTAINER AND GET WRAPPED UP IN IT AND FALL OFF THE DANG DOCK!
GEEZZZZ....TALK ABOUT IRONY HERE....
I THINK A 97 TON GRAIN SILO IS NEEDED IN THIS LOCATION TO ACCOMPLISH YOUR MISSION HERE MR. WATERWAY KEEPER. THIS IS MOREFISHHEAD CITY MR KEEPER....

I think Admin is going to let me have this space
We need some more of those up here. I think I have seen only one this past fishing season. Glad to see people are using it and keeping mono out of the water.

I've been thinking for a few weeks now on starting a thread about recycling in general and mono line recycling after I read a post in the Burlignton Boatyard Blog here on SportFishermen.com.
The problem is I think about that when I'm away from home and don't remember to post when I'm back
I do take my "dry garbage" (metal, plastic, glass, paper) to a place to be recycled as I feel bad about all these items getting wasted and polluting the enviroment in a montain of garbage somewhere.
If they want to use that "small" container in the MHC waterfront I guess they need to check it often (daily).
I wonder if the fisherman who put all that tangled line into the container (?) was in a hurry to go fishing

If Ignorance is bliss, Why aren't more people happy?
There is one over at the Yacht Basin as well, but it is even smaller.
Great idea, but 1 or 2 50Ws will about max it out.
