Not a public stream, still a pig of a trout.

Dad doesn't get around well and wanted to treat Ewing to some heavy pullage. Hit a place that grows some nice size trout including most VA state records. All 3 boys got in on the action. Took the 2 older ones back to the public stream landing another couple limits to try on the grill. Had a great trip fishing, visiting and even had snow showers in the mountains while cutting the christmas tree!

    Great pics.
Not many fish as pretty as those native Brook Trout. IMO they make up for in looks what they lack in size.

The fish in the first three pics is certainly a pig. Is that a spinner in it's mouth or bait?
    Thanks for the pics.

That would be a Trout Magnet in its mouth. This was the only non-native trout landed on the trout magnet.
