OK
NEIL - PRAYERS TO YOU AND ASHLEY AND MRS. TERRI AND MR. DONNIE - I KNOW THAT HE HAS HAD A ROUGH TIME WITH THIS DECEASE.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW IN YOUR TRAVELS IF THERE IS ANYTHING THAT I CAN DO FOR YOU HERE AT THE HOMEFRONT OK...... HE'S A GOOD OLD SALT AND A GREAT MAN THAT'S FOR SURE........ AS FAR AS YOUR LITTLE BOY......MINE JUST GOT OVER BEING SICK FOR OVER A WEEK AND IT SURE IS HARD SEEING THE LITTLE FELLOWS GOING THROUGH ALL THE PAIN - COUGHING, CRYING, ETC......AND LOOKING AT YOU LIKE DADDY, MOMMY, MAKE IT STOP PLEASE....... I KNOW YOU JUST WANT TO MAKE HIM FEEL BETTER - DOCTORS ARE JUST DOING WHAT THEY CAN ANYMORE - I TRUELY THINK WITH ALL THE PAIN MEDICATION PROBLEMS THEY HAVE ANYMORE YOU HAVE TO BE ALMOST ON YOUR LAST STRAW FOR THEM TO CORRECTLY DIAGNOSE YOU THE FIRST TIME AROUND - HANG IN THERE CAPT...... I KIND OF KNOW WHAT YOUR GOING THROUGH BRO - MY DAD HAS BASICALLY BEEN IN THE HOSPITAL SINCE THE MONDAY BEFORE CHRISTMAS WHEN IT WAS BLOWING 57 MPH NW AND HE SLIPPED BACK AT THE FARM AND CRACKED HIS PELVIC BONE ON HIS BACK RIGHT SIDE....... BETWEEN THE DOCTORS JERKING HIM AROUND AND THE INSURANCE COMPANIES TRYING TO SLIDE OUT FROM UNDER THE RUG - I THINK WE ARE ON THE FENCE OF PULLING HIM OUT OF THE HOSPITAL AND RUNNING HIM TO JOHNS HOPKINS OURSELVES. RIGHT NOW HE CAN'T WALK...... JUST HANG IN THERE CAPT AND KNOW THAT IT WILL WORK ITSELF OUT AND I AM A PHONE CALL AWAY BRO OK. |

As for the rest of you who have put my family in your thoughts and prayers it is working. My little dude is well on his way to recovery. He asked me today if we could go pick some mussels out at the shanty tomorrow! Donnie is recovering well from the surgery and fingers crossed this will be the last one. Almost 90 surgeries in 2 years is enough to kill a man. I was so happy to take him fishing in Islamorada this time last year. It was his first time going in 3 years! Hopefully he will pull out of this last bout of surgery and we can make a trip down to Los Suenos to fish on the Tuna Bite with Howard. He ran the boat for Howard a lot and keeps talking about getting down to Costa Rica to go fishing on the boat again! Thanks again and keep the prayers a flowin'.

Well got some bad news. Last week's surgery didn't go too well. The vein that they moved is not flowing so my father in law has to go back in for another surgery tomorrow. Surgery #87! This time they say there is nothing else they can do for him they will have to amputate his leg! Hoping and praying this is the last surgery he has to endure.

Wishing the best for him!! It's got to be unbearable going through all that. What hospital is he in? Is it up north?

Thanks guys! Really appreciate it. The little guy is doing good. Went back this week and chest x rays say he is clear. A week of roids and nebulizer treatment got him on the path to recovery.
