I konw iI haven't posted in a while but I have to thank Bobs Bait and Tackle in Duck NC.

I am vacationing in Duck NC and had a charter booked for tomorrow through Bobs Bait and Tackle in Duck. I got a phone call from the hospital and my grandfather has taken a turn for the worst. I went down to Bobs Bait and Tackle to pay them for tomorrows charter even though I had to cancel. In typical NC fashion not only did they not let me pay for the remaining portion I owed for the charter but they gave me back my deposit. I told them to keep it and by the Capt a new rod and reel but they insisted I take it back. If you are in Duck NC I highly recommend Bobs Bait and Tackle not only do they have values but also any bait or tackle you could want.

All the folks we met in NC last week took real good care of us. Makes you want to turn around and go again. Hope your grandfather is doing better. God Bless

Duskydog, so sorry to hear about your grandfather, I hope that he will get better soon. Nice to see that I am not the only one that does this. 2 things that we can not help is the weather and "acts of God" which is what happened in your case. Keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers...

sorry to hear about your grandfather that sucks, I hope he recovers well. I have to hand it to you as well, you went up to the dock and was going to pay, in full, your charter rate for the day, that speaks volumes about you and your character and I bet that the tackle shop picked that up in a second, you treated him with respect and he, in turn showed you the same kindness, a trait that is seldom seen anymore in the charter business. Again I hope your Grandfather has a speedy recovery.
