Non Ethanol on Hwy 70

Just though I would pass this a long. Any of the guys that trailer thier boats through New Bern towards the beach on highway 70.

The Riverdale Fuel Market on hwy 70 just across from the ranger station has a sign that says no-ethanol in thier unleaded.

This is where I always fill my boat up because it is 3 minutes from the house. Their prices are average for the area.

With non-ethanol getting harder to find just thought I would throw this out there.

Thanks Ponce, this triggers my question to what preventive action to take if you have to fill up with gas containing ethanol?

Capt Jerry Dilsaver wrote a GREAT article several months back in NC Sportsman magazine about this. Basically make sure you treat with a fuel additive. At the time he wrote it StaBil did not have their out. They now have one that you can pick up at any NAPA (or have them order it), Boaters World and West Marine. I now keep it in my fuel tanks. Also make sure you have a water fuel separator and change it more often than you use too. I have heard some say every 20 hrs and then others every 100hrs. I can tell you there is a pending lawsuit in relation to this issue because they need to realize that cars are not the only things that use gasoline. Anywhoo hope this helps you some and if I can find a link to the article I will post it, I do have the issue at home I believe still. Scott

Oh yes...even if they say NO Ethanol I have starting using an additive regardless. It is cheaper than the repairs right during the heart of fishing season!!
