Nick and Nick left a few!

Well they weren't the quality fish that biscuit and slip consistently bring to the dock, but enough to keep me happy. Went out Saturday afternoon with JR, Garry and Garry for an overnighter. We picked away at the red's and I finally got my personal best gag that I have been looking for. We headed offshore in the morning, had lines in around Same Ole at 6am and had several short strikes and pulled hooks. We were all beat so we headed to the hill.

Thanks to Biscuit for giving me the grouper 101 I needed to get a more quality bottom catch, still think I may need some lessons though. I was too tired to count but I think we had around 15 Reds, 1 Gag, and a cooler full of pain in the rear to clean reef complex species.

Well Matt, way to go man! You all had a fine catch. Glad I was able to help.
How did you like that gag pullage?
Overnighters are for you young fellas and Holwachagot! I'm too old for that pain.

Here's a tip on the fish cleaning: keep only what you need and let go the trash fish, unless someone you know wants them whole.

Thanks for the report and pictures.

Thanks Biscuit. That gag put those reds to shame as far as the fight went. I was beat after we got back, the overnight thing wouldn't have been bad if we didn't decide to head to the stream in the morning. Trust me I didn't keep any of those grunts, pinkys, or beeliners, two of the guys with us wanted them so they kept them.

You need to get that phone checked out Alan! I was invited on another boat since I'm doing some work on mine. Should be good to go soon though!
