New Whitey painting and reference

I finished this White Marlin painting (low res. pic) this morning and wanted to show the reference photo I used. As you can see each image is a different situation. What I liked about the photo was the curve of the fish. With some changes I decided to take the Marlin under water turning on a bait. I do this sort of thing alot when painting a scene. I just thought I would share this since I get alot of questions about it.

The Sea Splendor does use green machines when white marlin fishing

Green machines are the %$#@^%! Capt Shute sent me some of his lantern baits today which I hope to use in my next yellowfin painting. They are prettier than the fish. Thanks Joe
