New ride, new crew, more posts...and....now an Overnighter

I want to go ahead and say first I've been slack in posting...numerous jigging trips, BFT's out of Oregon Inlet on the TATUNA, mahi's this spring, cobia's, wahoo...so forgive me. I will get better. My pictures and writeups have taken back seat to a couple of new projects.

First...wife told me the bun was baking as of last September...after the ultrasound, found out my lady angler would be here June 19...Father's Day weekend.

Decided that the 24 SeaHunt wouldn't cut it anymore; the girl's having different plumbing and all, we needed a head. Introducing the new (to me) Sails Call....



With the help of my buddy Larry, we added lights, new riggers, SiriusWx, and are going through new teak work and maintenance.

So, plan was to fish til Memorial Day, then hang around till birth of little one. She decided to come May 17th...early and little but healthy. I even added my own influence to her nursery....and btw, Cary hosp rocks. One of our nurses has family on the Bankwalker...good luck to you in the BRock.

Baby and mom are great and for my father's day, I'm taking some of my best buds on a Fri overnighter....Call the Sails Call on 69; we'll be leaving MBI at 7pm Fri eve. New RileyRod will also be making a debut.

And can't wait to post little girls first catch!!!
