New Planer Rod Owner

If you do not have swivel rod holders, there is a company that makes a drop in Swivel insert (company is Tournament Grade Tackle).

If you decide to go that way, please make sure your rod holders are heavy duty and have proper backing plates.

Thanks for all the help. Already ordered the swivel rod inserts. Will check on the backing plates this weekend. CapeHorn usually does things right.

BOX - That time of year again...your sniper set-up pulled my 280xf in a tight left turn all summer...now the international 80 (that you told me wouldn't hold) needs a new set of washers. You have any suggestions on an upgrade? I've seen some aftermarket improvements to the 80 posted here and there. Don't know which way to turn...and Crow isn't any help.
