New Contender dealer on 24?

Hey .... for all you Morehead guys .... Is there a new Power Marine Outfitters on HWY 24 heading into town? I cruised by something with a Contender out front but had the phone on one ear, the nextel blaring in the other, my chicken sandwich spilling on my belly, radar detector going off, and my attractive british navigation system telling me to make a u-turn when possible. So ... I missed it.

Nice! Are they moving there from Sneads Ferry or it is a second dealership?

Second dealership, or so they say. That pretty little piece of water at Snead's Ferry may be getting too good ($) to hold on to.

Alright ... called them and got the scoop. The store on 24 is just a sales center. No service. You can drop the boat off there for service but they trailer it all the way to Sneads Ferry to do the service

If you drop your boat off at POWER MARINE you might see your boat back in 5 to 6 weeks untouched. I have never once ranted or been negative about anything on this website so this is a first for me. All I will say is that I will never have any service work done or buy anything there again. I can not imagine how many more Contenders would be in Eastern NC if Power Marine only knew the Definition of Customer Service.

No problems with Power Marine for me.

It's my understanding that they opened the satellite sales location when the USMC base closed the back gate to through traffic, which negatiavely impacted customer (& potential customer) access from northeast of Sneads Ferry.
