Neuses

I just stumbled upon Neuses Sports Shop today after my father in law told me to check it out and I nearly pooped my pants when I walked in the door.

That place is UNFREAKINGBELIEVEABLE!!!!

All I could think of when I left was that I have to figure out a way to make a LOT more money and I had to come back when I had a straight weekend to spend there.

Was there with Jr. this weekend. He spooled up abuot 10 reels for me! Dont get me wrong. When it comes to service, deals and the place I would go to for the local hook-up Custom Marine has my vote hands down.

The sheer volume and variety at Neuses was what had my innards spinning. Good thing I didnt have any questions or need any help because people with answers were far and few between.

You know .... I saw that sign on my way out but it was a bit confusing. I was kind of in a hurry to get back on the road. What did they have over at the 50% off store? Anything worth while?

Ill have to stop there on my way back into town this week.

you guys are talking about FTO's beseide Nueses yeah if you catch him at the right time he has some sick deals. Racked up on Jags last year for less than half price. Bought all he had.

By the way where is Custom Marine located usually just passing through never really looked around in that area?

Neuse Sport Shop is on Hwy 70 in Kinston, the 50% Off Outlet is in the same parking lot, Custom Marine Fabrication is in New Bern - Heading East from Raleigh, it is on the right a mile or so after you cross the bridge.

That entire stretch of road is the gauntlet of death (for my wallet) - Luckily Custom Marine closes pretty early - 5:30 - 6:00 so it isn't open if I leave work and pass by - very small saving grace...

Unfortunately Neuse is open late and so is EJW in Morehead...

In the 2 years that we've been driving 70, Neuse has seen us a lot either for hunting or fishing... BUT.... if Custom Marine in New Bern was open later he'd get our business. The owner recognizes you each time as has often given samples to the boys.
I love Neuse but dropped off a Shimano Trevala Rod for repair mid July. I've stopped and called there quite a few time since but no progress is made and never did they call back a single time... We're mid October! Anybody from Shimano on here???

My next rods will be bought right here on SFC and they might not be... Shimano !!!
