I might be asking for trouble knowing that suggestions are coming from hard core fishermen! . However, I always get the same "girly" gifts for mom every year for Mother's Day... Any suggestions on what I should give the most wonderful woman in the world? she is humble, simple, does not like expensive stuff... LOVES fish... what are you guys doing for your moms and wives? ideas gents? running out of time!

My wife got her Mother;s Day gift about 3 weeks ago...a new Suburban. She even told me that was all she wanted. Now, is she being sincere? That may be the question!

You could always do a full day at a spa for a manicure, pedicure, message and tan.

hhhmmm not sure I can be THAT generous this Mother's Day after freaking uncle Sam taking $4400 from savings and wiping us clean (I will not even go there!)... and after that wonderful gift, I think she is being sincere! wait... I hope is a 2010? right? leather interior? full extras? a girl know what she wants! although I don't see why get a gas shugger... ok zipping it...

A day at a spa? I like it! I might even go with a "mother-daughter" package... I'm liking this... indulging just with the thoughts right now.

I vote for the day at the spa. My wife LOVES her spa time! That is usually her reward for my leaving her with the three kids to go fishing

I think women view spa days like men view their fishing days! Whenever in doubt, a spa day does the trick (at least in my house)
