Hi - I applaud you for your humility in accepting feedback. The main thing that strikes me as off is they have 2 pair of "eyes". Also the color schemes are a little busy; would think you would want to stick with a consistent color scheme between head and skirt and try to simplify to one primary color per lure given you will be making lure color selections based on water color / ambient lighting conditions / depth that you are fishing the lures. But please take my feedback with grain of salt...I'm primarily a king mackerel and bluefin fisherman.

the question is how did they work?

what color worked the best on what type of day?

    which head worked the best?

    what were you fishing for?

most lure makers seem to make the lure to catch the fishermens eye instead of the fishes. which one did you find worked the best. show us the meat!

good luck! they all look good. looks like you put alot of time into them!

I don't really know jack or crap about lures but they look pretty sweet! I'm sure they'll catch you some fish!!

We're definitely going to need pictures of the fish you catch with them!!

    Good luck!

    GREAT ANSWER HERE

THE THING I LIKE IS YOU ARE PUTTING YOUR STUFF TOGETHER...I LOVE TO FEEL A LURE...I VISION THAT LURE OUT THERE A POPPIN AROUND DOING IT'S THING........SOMETIMES I SHAVE A HEAD A BIT TO SEEK A DIFFERENT WIGGLE FROM IT....TWEEKING.... I LOVE TO TWEEK EM

I COPIED YOUR PICTURES AND MADE SOME NOTES.....THIS IS ONLY MY VIEW HERE AND NOT THE ONLY WAY TO DO THINGS

I AM A BELIEVER IN LOW PROFILE- ALL STEALTH WHEN IT COMES TO CATCHING....

IN CHOOSING HOOK SIZE, A HOOKS GAP SHOULD BE LARGER THAN THE LURE HEAD

DO NOT USE AN OVERSIZE HOOK THAT COMPLETELY DWARFS THE LURE....SINGLE HOOKS CAN BE AND ARE...BAD TO THE BONE!

IN THIS NEXT PICTURE ...I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING HERE, BUT I RECOMMEND YOU KEEP IT SIMPLE AND GO TO A STANDARD CRIMPED LOOP HERE.....IF YOU WISH TO STIFF RIG THIS APPLY SOME ELECTRIC TAPE OVER THE HOOK EYE AND LOOP....IN THIRTY YEARS OF THIS GAME, I HAVE NEVER TWISTED A LOOP OR USED THIS CONFIGURATION YOU SHOW US. AND I AM NOT POPPIN OFF FISH EITHER

I LIKE THIS METHOD! CLEAN....NEAT...LOW PROFILE AND STIFF RIGGED FOR EASY PENETRATION

NEXT.........KEEP IT STEALTH BRO.... LOW PROFILE...CLEAN... A DOUBLE BARREL CRIMP IS CLEAN AND NEAT

THIS IS A COMMON DENOMINATOR THAT I SEE ON 95% OF RECREATIONAL CLASS RIGGING: TOO MUCH TAG END EXPOSED. I WANT TO SEE ONLY ONE MILLIONTH OF AN INCH OF MONO EXPOSED WHEN I CRIMP

    Thumbs up WOW!

Thanks ya'll for all your help! Marty I am going to clean these suckers up and make them super high speed so when you see these next there will hopefully be some meat on the blood bath of a deck so ya'll can see how we do it down here in Guam. I know you don't like using double hooks Matry, but, they really seem to work great down here. I really like what you said about not using a hook smaller than your lure head. The first time I was told that was Saturday here and ya'lls Friday and it makes great sense. I can't wait to get these lures out for sea trials. I will deffinately let ya'll know how me and SERprise do when we get out. For now this is all we have because of all of the small craft advisories we have been having down here we can't get out that much on the rental boats from the Navy.

    Thanks again,
    Jeremy
