So its decided, my brother and i will be heading over to north carolina this coming summer, and we are interested in booking a full day charter. A couple questions i would really appreciate you east coast guys answering:
1. What kind of fishing can i expect to be doing during the early summer months?
2. Are the white marlin, blues, and sails going to be around? Tunas?
3. What charter operations would you recommend?
The, uh, economic crisis has effected us all, me included, so what kind of price range would i be looking at for a full day of trolling?
I have been deep sea fishing since i was 11 here on oahu so im not clueless around the back deck, i wouldnt mind a hands on operation at all.
Do know what month you expect to come down, to sum up NC summer time fishing it would be dolphin, wahoo, bills, and depending where you go in NC you might even catch a yellowfin. If you can choose when to fly in I would definitely come late may or early June. The reason being (at least here out of MHC) gaffers galore, Blue marlin bills will be slashing, and a chance for some yellowfin.
