Anthony's Ark is a blowboater
Need help for Wife
My wife loves to fish on our boat but....there is a catch. She does not get sea sick in our boat or on a charter off shore. What happens is after we get back to land, and it doesn't matter how long we are out either, after about 2hrs. after returning to land, she says the best way to explain it is, she says that it feels like she is drunk with a hangover at the same time, (we don't drink on the boat. and alcohol is not a factor) she says her vision gets blurry, headace, and everything is moving around (dizzy) all this last for about 2 days. Have any of you run into this before and what did you do? It really stinks when we want to do the family fishing thing. Thanks

She should see a doctor. Headaches, dizziness, and blurred vision? I would take her to the doctor. I have never heard of or experienced anything like that unless exhaustion was a factor. If I have been up two or three days straight fishing and cleaning up afterwards I feel like I am drunk when I hit the pillow and go comatose. Hope the doc can pinpoint a simple fix for your wife other than not fishing.

Team Canada Rocks!
Not a doctor but I am going to guess too much sun. Drink lots of water and stay covered up. Some people are acutally allergic to too much sun.
But she really needs to see a dr.

I think Admin is going to let me have this space
If its lasting for a couple days, aside from the heat or just the motion of the boat it could be a inner ear problem. Like they said I'd see a Dr.

definitely see a doctor if it lasts that long of a time

Stop staring at my Avatar.
I am not a doctor but I have experienced a similar effect. Usually for me it is a combination of not enough water and dramamine. The dramamine messes my system up for days so I recently switched to Bonine and have not experienced the bad effects.
