    NCMFS Meeting tomorrow nite

    Anybody got a clue as to whats on the agenda for this meeting, just curious, some people think there may be violence!!!!

    Closure of all large mesh gill nets from May 15th thru Dec 15th. until NC can obtain a section 10 permit for sea turtles, to help reduce the interaction between large mesh gill nets and turtles. There is another rec group that is also going to try and introduce evidence that there is interaction between small mesh gill nets and turtles as well to possibly get all gill nets out of the water. Talk about a fire storm meeting. I have been thinking about going to just sit back in the corner and watch the fireworks. There will definately be a large showing of law enforcement at the meeting.

    There were some of the powers that be expecting it to get out of hand... thats all a little overreaction but hell when you are talking about taking away someones livley hood folks due to tend to get pissed and who can blame them. It went off without a hitch, not a pitch fork toting mob like I think some were expecting

    Saw you out there yeasterday Marty Trolled around you for a few hours, only got three bites, sounds like you had them all following you around good job catching them up!!!
