    Red and Silver

In the sound all day today and no silver. Saw one school of drum on the BI shoal in shallow water, no bites, no takers. Water a little rough but visible on sand. had to settle for the specks and slot drums. Will keep beast informed. Ya'll guys don't know what you missing out there in the blue when you can take a short ride in with the beast.

Ya'll can keep hanging out in the Big Blue, Jere knows not of what he speaks. All we have in the sound are a few piddly 100# poons and 50# bulls. Might be a few thousandspecks hanging around with the slot drum and flounder but other than that, IT SUCKS!!

We cranked up fish from "the unknown ledges" until I did not want to see another Grouper, Jack, Cobia, fill in your favorite fish here... Much pain.

Nothing new about any of this. It is pretty much the same story whether it is Tuna, Billfish, Dolphin, Wahoo, Tarpon, Drum, Pinfish, or googleeyed buttercups. It just does not matter, it is the same every time. So if your contemplating some Extreme fishing tighten you chin strap, eat your wheaties or whatever it is you do to fortify yourself because the catchin' is usually as Extreme as the fishing.

Holy shit is right people. This guy is among the best of the very best at snagging White Marlin and Saildogs. He makes it look like catching bream in a pond.

Let me add a little flavor to this thread. In August 2004, the Box took one my girlfriend offshore in the morning and caught her a 50 lb. sailfish. Headed to the dock and we met Capt. Brian and she had caught a 50 lb. redfish by late afternoon.

That is a remarkable double to pull off in one day. Maybe the only woman or person to every take a trophy redfish and saildog in the same day.

These two can get it done.

Sorry I took a lay day at the office and missed you there Marty. The mojo is right and I am in a killin' frame of mind. I can't wait. To set the record straight, Glenn does exaggerate a bit. Besides Ray Charles could have caught sails and whites if he had fished with Capt. Brian on the RUNOFF. They won't be coming in onesies will they Capt. Brian?

I know it is different thread but I have seen Marty catch countless wahoos on the upright troller. IMO the best on DFA bar none. I would have never believed it would out produce the blue and white Islander. I have a few left if you want them Marty.
