NC SALTWATER BOW FISHING?

After seeing a few pics from a recent (GREAT) report, I had to bring up the idea of bowfishing regs on shooting BIG Spade Fish with a bow. I know you can take them with spear in NC but whats the deal with a bow? Thanks, Netman

Regs? How many people even attempt to do this? Anyone have any video/photos of this to post? Is the line attached to rod and reel or do you just start bringing it in by hand. The photos posted by Dave are the only ones I've seen, looks kinda sporty

Need some help here guys, leaving for NC towing boat 6/20where past 2 years we have had schools of 10#-15# Spades cruising around boat with dorsals 3" out of water. At 10 yds and 40-50 fish in school thought we would give it a try if legal. Oh' they never bite! Caught many in Ches. Bay but this location has bad case of lock jaw, even tried fresh jellie fish.
