well you've all heard of the casual "meet n' greet" well now we're gonna up the stakes ladies and gentleman. Networking is the name of the game and what a beautiful thing it is. My goal for the new year is to meet as many new fishing fool's such as myself as possible! From cape cod to the keys. I chase everything from marlin and tuna, various toothy critters, right on down to drum and 'stripahs'. I invite anyone and everyone to come fish with me wherever I am! I sold my 30' Pursuit and just got a 23 Parker DVCC, which I'm very excited about. The problem some people face (myself included) is that not everyone has the same schedule so when its time to go fishing its not always that easy! IT SHOULD NOT B THIS WAY! We should all have friends in different parts of the country to target all different species. We have all the tackle and tools like facebook, twitter, myspace, whatever else is out there, and best yet...SFC! so who's in? I have el boxo down for a brew and maybe we'll even stretch a line or two! . John, jer, box, everyone else work so hard for this site, so lets put it all to use! hopefully we can keep this thread going year-round! so post up where you wanna go, what species you wanna target and lets make this all a reality!
I'll go first...
what I do: first off..my rig boat is equipped with 6man Winslow offshore raft and ACR epirb. Now, I keep the boat on the Susquehanna flats for the striper run for a month or so in late march april, then go cape may for the rest of the season. Black drum and some stripers in the Delaware bay for the month of may give or take a week. Then mr. mako and the old whiptails come through, so we target them hard, then marlin and tuna season goes under way. The fall season brings about the striper run in DE bay and the Montauk fishery is always great.
what i want to do: jig NC for AJ's/grouper and bluefin of course, but mainly I just wanna feel like my body is gonna break!
now I wanna hear from all of you! who wants to come fish with me on my boat and explore some of the top notch fisheries i get to play in!
(i'll post some pics later so u guys and gals can figure out the type of fishing I'm into...no fair weather guy here!)
tight lines and screamin' drags!
