it was a 1 for us..

fished every fishable day, with a few not so fishable days thrown in, we got bit twice, had a mainline failure and a pulled hook. its tough to swallow losing our only two bites but i feel luck as some boats didnt get bit all season. 1 out of 10

    Josh,

Great report and picts. Thank you.

Love that downrigger! Since you're one of the few downrigger guys I've seen here, I have a surprise for you. Please email our Chris Jones at superbars@live.com, give him your shipping addy, and we'll send you one of our Spiders to run off that 'rigger, be it for bluefin, any other tunas, bass, or any of the other pelagics. It will be with our compliments. Putting a whole school of bait with a straggler trying to catch up right in the bait and gamefish triggers lots of bites and we've found that this works a lot better than a single lure or bait.

Plus, run the Spider up top and it makes for a very good spreaderbar.

Good luck with it...and put the lead to them!

You guys need to check out the British made documentary called "The End of The Line". It comes out in the states in April but I have a copy that if anyone wants it I will let you borrow. PM me if you are interested. You can see the trailer at http://endoftheline.com. Basically the film is about overfishing and focuses on the demise of the Bluefin Tuna. Based on the novel by Charles Clover. I personally think it answers a lot of our questions.

We kicked the British out of the country for a reason.
