    NC BFT Lures?

Does anybody use lures or anything other than Ballyhoo to chase BFT off of NC?

    Thanks,
    Tim

Some people thrown in a split tail mullet, usually down deep, but the majority use ballyhoo.

You should try the strike pro wahoo hunter in the 12 1/2" version http://www.charkbait.com/specials.htm#Special_8
The black diamond would be my first choice with the green/blue splotches and chrome/redhead the others. Lotsa guys up here swear by this type lure. I use to use the yozuri version in the blue mackeral but the jumbo size has be discontinued by them.

Thanks guys for the responses. I was really just curious after reading a bunch of stuff about BFT fishing in other areas and was curious if anyone used any lures around here.

    John,

I did see a charter boat pulling what looked like daisy chains a couple of years ago. Don't know how popular the chains and spreader bars actually are.

Add a few green machines along with the spreader bars, and you'll have quite a spread...
