HI:
BEING aLURE MAN, I GOAATTA ADMIT that HORSE BALLY is the wat to go now. DID I REALLY SAY THAT?
AARRRGGGHHH.
NOW having said that. I still PULL PLASTIC. Alway will, . That is my 1st,2nd,3rd way of consistantly fishing for them. Bait is great but PLASTIC is better for me.
GM types, Jets, Bars, all work for me MOST of the time. When all the above fail(and sometimes thay do....JUST LIKE BAIT) I switch off to another type. To me there is NOTHING BETTRE than watching a pack of Giants turn up and turn on behind my boat and slowly come cruising through and CRASH a perfectly pulled LURE. My kness quake, My mouth hangs open, My arms go squerly, My hart rate soars , as that huge splash opens up as that CRAZY GIANT come part way out and
that DINNER PLATE eyeball looks at me as the rest follows behind crashing down and away..........YOUWZA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like to keep my rigs in the 2nd thru 4th wake waves. What type and placement is very IMPORTANT for better hookup to landing ratio.
Gimme a shout at the Raleigh and Savannah and Timonium shows. I got lots of tips and trick to use on 'em.

Box- being the innovator that you are, with a proven track record and a cappy known for finding the meat, you should devote one side of your pattern to plastic everyday, but do it masters format where you swap sides hourly. ANd since you are the master film documentarian we could see the results....
ANd If you promise to do this, I will dedicate one third of my spread to pulling a green machine![]()
TNX Franky:
Sounds good. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. Naw, I sure wish I could be there when he cranks out the video machine and starts takin pitchers.

Two years ago I was playing around and put a moldcraft wide range in the prop wash while Bluefinning off of Morehead and it got hit within the first few minutes. Ended up being a nice fish. Put it out there a couple of times since with no luck. Had a double header of big Bluefins on the other side of the stream in June on the same lure 20 years ago.
