Nasty pics from the JJ II today
What a slow bite today, the wind really cranked up mid morning and the seas got pretty sloppy, which makes for a miserable day. Slipped outta the MYCB at 4 and Capt. Troy headed to the south, the flags in MHC were moving abit more than yesterday so I knew it was gonna be nasty. Plenty of birds, Flipper, sea turtles and a few reported whales in the area but very few Charlie the Tuna to be had. Very few hookups and maybe 2 fish landed listening to the radio chatter, something nibbled on the deep bait some and snagged a fatty late morning.
By 1 the NE was howling and the small fleet started to get smaller so Capt. Troy called it a day and dropped the hammer for home. Managed a few pics after we cleared the Cape, I didn't dare peek around the starboard side as there was a steady flow of H2O flying over the side. I can say one thing about the boatbuilders up north, they make some tough ass boats, passed several smaller rigs that were absolutely slicing thru the slop. They may not have our flare but they are some dry running boats.
Foul Hook'd

If Ignorance is bliss, Why aren't more people happy?
Sure beats sitting at a desk. Hopefully once this low moves off, the fishing will pickup again.
