Even with all the red flag stuff, it was one of the best endings to the 500 I have ever seen, as well as the longest...

No kidding...wife starting giving me the stink eye as those nice Valentine's Day filets went uncooked beyond 7pm....Needless to say, I did the dishes.

Come on guys.. Don't you remember that Super Bowl when they had to stop play for 2.5 hours so they could re-sod the field? No? That's because it would NEVER happen!

I'm with you, Box. It's absolutely ridiculous that they can't have the track at Daytona ready for the Daytona 500. If there were any newcomers that thought they'd try to get into NASCAR this year, they were no doubt scared away by that train-wreck of a "Great American Race"...

It was definitely an exciting race though, for what little bit of the 7 hours they were under green!
