    Name your spread

Well now that BOX has told us that he has time on his hands for the coming week I expect a good discussion here. What I want to know is what would you pull if you were going to the Big Rock this weekend. Lets go with eight lines, (long riggers, short riggers, flats, WFB and on deep, or any combination) do not leave out teasers. Lets assume the seas are calm and you have the man power to handle all lines. I wish I could give you mine but I have to admit I have no set spreaad or method. As bad as it sounds it seem like i have to refigure things out everytime I go. Maybe I need to go to school.

First off that (school) never will hurt ...ask anyone that has taken Marty,s school! It was neat seeing the guys rigging and trying out the things that they learned on the last "Bite Me" trip.
As for your "What to pull" ?, now you can't go wrong with pulling sea witches, blue & crystal, black & purple and purple & green from one end of your spread to the other.
    MirrOlure when big fish count!

    8 Green Machines... LOL

Seriously on early season yellowfins and bluefins.... A rasta bar on both sides... ballyhoos all around them. Baits tight together pretty far back from the boat. When you hook up, keep pulling for another 30 seconds or so trying to get a multiple. Drill your marks and if you cant get bites throw the planer down.

9 blue/crystal seawitches with ballyhoos on rubber band rigs, I would run 2 teasers on from each side of the boat. One would be squidnations rasta squid on a dropper style daisy chain and on the other side would be a blue/white illander chain also in the dropper style daisy chain. I would run this up home (jersey ) any day of the week against plastics. This spread would very tight together nothing far back at all. You want to entice the school not just one stupid fish

Thats something that might be a good idea this year. 2 boats same area of water me with my spread consiting of all blue/crystal witches with one splashbar as a teaser against all plastics. Anyone want to go against me??

6 Blue/ Crystal, a naked right flat, 1 Pink/crystal short rigger or center middle.
Shit--- just keep it small and simple and keep the spread tight is the main thing.
