    Mystery worm

Saturday I did a little bottom fishing in 80 ft of water. When I was cleaning one of the back sea bass i pulled this worm looking thing out of his stomach. Looks like it may have had some hairy feelers on the sides and it wasn't round but kinda flat. Does anyone know what it could be?

If I were to guess ....

Maybe a Bristleworm also known as Fireworm ??
They can sting and get rather large (for worms ) They are flat and have bristles on their sides.

Here is a picture I took of one, not the best but you get the idea

That could not have felt good going down if this is what that fish swallowed

Looks like a regular old sand-worm to me. We used to use them for Flounder bait when I was a kid.

(Dont know about the Marlin comment in this article though)
